The “Monument” collection consists of a series of monolithic concrete chairs, all of which deriving from variations around a basic module. The pieces are characterized by their linearity and appear as though they have been shaped through the extrusion of various profile lines, responding in diverse ways to the act of sitting.

Each piece is handcrafted using cast concrete and then polished to achieve a neat and smooth finish. The glassfiber reinforced concrete allows for a surprinsingly slim profile while remaining strong and durable. This combination of sturdiness and lightness creates an interesting visual dichotomy which presents each piece as an architectural performance and refined object, transcending the confines of mere furniture.
